Key Ingredients

• Chitosan. A natural biopolymer you’ve probably never seen in a hand cream, because it mostly lives in a different world: it’s the material behind modern medical dressings, used because it forms a thin, breathable film that holds water against the skin. Rescue is a balm, not a dressing. In it, chitosan does one job: lay down a light, breathable layer that helps keep moisture over rough, over-worked skin. Fungal-derived, not shellfish.
• Centella Asiatica. You’ve seen “cica” on a hundred labels. Most of those use a watered-down leaf extract, where the amount of active ingredient varies from batch to batch and is often too small to matter. Rescue uses the purified, standardized form: the part of the plant that actually does the work, at a consistent strength every time, and the same form the published research was done on. In Rescue it does one job: calm the look and feel of stressed, over-worked skin. The published research on centella’s skin benefits was done on its purified triterpene fraction, not on dilute leaf extracts; this is the form used in Rescue.
• Pro-Vitamin B5 (Panthenol) 5%. The quiet workhorse of skincare. Your skin turns it into vitamin B5, and it’s one of the best-studied conditioning ingredients there is. Most products use 1–2%. Rescue runs it at 5%, the top of its useful range, so stressed skin gets the full dose: it holds water in the skin and keeps it feeling comfortable for longer.
• Milk Peptide Complex. Small proteins from whey, the same part of milk that goes into protein powder. They sit on the surface and leave it feeling smooth and comfortable. Derived from milk, so Rescue isn’t vegan.
• Virgin Coconut Oil + Shea Butter + Tamanu Oil. A rich emollient trio: shea and coconut deeply condition and cushion, and tamanu is a traditional oil long used on rough, worn skin.

Directions

Twist the base fully to raise and lower the pump. Apply a small amount to clean skin, affected skin. Reapply as needed.
